01 / SHORTLIST

Compare four packaging families

Use a product reference to start the discussion. The examples below reproduce listed capacities from our product quotation reference; they do not establish the fill quantity or suitability for your formula.

One listed example per family, with the details to confirm for your project.
FormatReference & listed capacitySelection questions
Lip gloss tubesPKGLG0002
10 mL
What formula and target fill volume will you use? Which applicator, rod and wiper configuration should the sample include?
Lipstick tubesPKGLS0005
5 mL listed in the reference sheet
Confirm the intended product form, required fill weight, internal dimensions and mechanism. Ask what the listed volume represents for this configuration.
Mascara tubesPKGMC0002
20 mL
Which brush, rod and wiper are required? Agree the formula, fill target and application requirements before evaluating the sample.
Dual-ended packagingPKGDE0007
3.5 mL / 20 mL
Specify each end separately: formula, fill quantity, applicator and closure. Confirm which capacity belongs to which end and the overall dimensions.

A single example does not represent every size or configuration in its collection. Confirm the current specification for the SKU you choose.

02 / FILL REQUIREMENTS

Volume and weight answer different questions

Volume: mL

Millilitres describe volume. Ask whether a listed value refers to the intended fill volume, the container's full volume or another measurement basis. Agree the usable fill quantity with the selected components and your actual formula.

Weight: g

Grams describe mass. A target of 5 g does not automatically mean that a 5 mL reference is suitable. Converting between mass and volume requires the formula's density; volume in mL equals mass in g divided by density in g/mL.

For solid-product formats, provide the intended fill weight and the dimensions required by your filling process. Some reference sheets use mL for lipstick packaging, so confirm the measurement basis rather than treating the listed number as a guaranteed finished-product weight.

For dual-ended packaging, record the two fill requirements separately. A combined total does not tell you whether each side will fit its intended product.

03 / COMPONENT SPECIFICATION

Read PETG as a product material reference

The 87 products in our October 25 quotation update list PETG as the material. That label does not mean that every cap, rod, wiper, brush or decorative layer is PETG.

Ask for the materials of the components included in your selected configuration, especially parts that contact the formula. Include any material declaration or report you need, together with your destination market, so availability and product coverage can be confirmed.

Material identification alone does not establish compatibility, leakage performance or suitability for a particular formula. Evaluate the agreed sample configuration using your actual product and relevant conditions.

04 / SAMPLE EVALUATION

Make the sample brief specific

State whether you need an existing sample, a custom color, a decorated sample or a mold sample. An appearance sample and a sample prepared for formula evaluation may have different requirements.

  1. Identify the configuration

Record the SKU, capacity basis, dimensions, component materials, applicator and wiper. For a dual-ended pack, record these details for each end.

  2. Define the appearance

Agree a color reference, finish, logo position, decoration method and artwork version. Use a physical reference or approved sample to settle the order appearance.

  3. Review filling and use

Check the selected configuration with your formula and filling requirements. Define the required closure, applicator and dispensing behavior before approval.

  4. Agree the evaluation conditions

Specify the compatibility, leakage, closure torque and transportation checks relevant to the project, including acceptance criteria. A photograph or a visual sample does not establish these results.

  5. Confirm sample arrangements

Agree sample quantity, sample and courier charges, delivery address and estimated completion date. Keep a record of the sample version and the details approved for the order.

Production photographs and the company film show manufacturing activities. The inspection requirements and records for your order should be agreed for its specific structure, formula and configuration.
